BioVision Technologies offers the following laser-based microscope illumination products from Cairn Research, Ltd.:
MultiLine-LaserBank
The MultiLine-LaserBank is a modular and versatile laser launch system that allows for use of up to six solid-state lasers from multiple manufacturers. It is ideal for TIRF, spinning disk confocal, FRAP and optogenetic applications or any combination of these with multiple outputs via single or multi-mode fibers. It provides the convenience of a customizable, turnkey system at about half the cost of similar products.
It is upgradeable and alignable on-site, and is also designed as a standalone unit for biophysics laboratories to house their own lasers. Mechanical shutters and galvanometer switching modules are available as required. Lasers can be controlled using the Cairn MultiLine controller with computer and / or front panel digital and analogue modulation, or used with the laser manufacturer or other third-party power supply.
