Instantaneous super-resolution imaging system from VisiTech

With VT-iSIM, the ground‐breaking high‐speed super resolution imaging system from VisiTech International, you can image at spatial and temporal resolutions never thought possible before.

With no requirement to use specific fluorophores and without any computation, the VT-iSIM produces super resolution images in real time at up to 1,000 frames per second.

This high temporal resolution is combined with a spatial resolution enhancement on all axes of up to 2× that of regular wide-field microscopy.

Toxoplasma are expressing two FP tagged proteins.

EGFP-alpha-1-tubulin highlights the cortical microtubules, and an apical spot (the conoid) in both adult cells and in developing daughter cells (located inside the mother).

mCherryFP-APR1 highlights an apical ring, located immediately adjacent to the conoid, in both adult cells and in developing daughter cells.

Microtubule growth from frog egg extract

Alexa-488 labelled porcine brain tubulin added to Xenopus laevis (frog) egg extract along with mCherry tagged EB1 protein to label the growing ends of microtubules.
